It's funny for me to read this post.
First, because you talk about us.
But second, because I realize how rare it is to hear people discuss personal relationships in videoblogging.

Articles and blog posts always seem to focus on the video itself. It's usually critiques that refer to the video as an art object or a TVshow/movie.

I think this is what has always excited me about videoblogging: how the act of creating/sharing of videos affect people. How the best videos gets the creator engaged in their own life. The videos become openings for other people to enter.

I have to say Michael, that your experience with the last video that you showed her.....I never understood, and I am pretty sure I told you this already, but I never understood why you were the subject of such anger over that post....and I have to be honest the responses you received have stopped me on a couple of different occasions from sharing things I would have otherwise....maybe that is chickenshit of me....but I just don't want the hassle, I just don't want the trolls, the false friends, who judge me based on a 30 second clip.........I....it's just crap....

I admire what you do Michael, I really do and I hope we can meet someday..

yes ryanne, it does. i got an 'unofficial' recording but i didn't have the time (and actually the speed) to upload the +30 min video (+8 gigs of uncompressed video!) to the web for Michael yet. It's all captured on my harddrive though :)

I've been running around and haven't spent much time in front of my computer. As soon as I get a chance to proofread the text from my presentation I'll post it here. I may also get a bit of video that shot during the presentation that I'll try to post also.
